     “Winning Golf” is back and better than ever starting this Sunday night June 4th in “prime time” on Comcast Sportsnet. This seasons 1st airing comes to you from the spectacular Cedarbrook C.C. and features a talented group of players sponsored by Schorn Construction. Our 1st show is full of excitement and a bunch of thrilling contests where contestants compete for lots of amazing prizes including FootJoy shoes, golf-getaways and even a gorgeous Buick Envision. Winning Golf TV Announces 2017 Grand Prize

     Each year in the season finale our “weekly champions” compete in the Winning Golf Championship for the esteemed title of “grand champion”.  This season the thrilling and very competitive championship will again be held at the beautiful Applecross C.C.  In addition to a beautiful and mint conditioned golf course, this spring Applecross opened up a gorgeous new clubhouse providing the perfect setting for our Winning Golf Championship.
     And now I’d like to announce the spectacular 2017 “grand prize”.  This season our Winning Golf TV “grand champion” will win an amazing golf trip for 4 to the prestigious Streamsong Resort.  Streamsong which opened in 2013 is already recognized as one of the top golf resorts in North America. The 2016 Winning Golf Championship

             Well, The Winning Golf Championship has a history of thrilling finishes and certainly 2016 was no exception. This year 12 “weekly champions” displayed their short game skills on the challenging 9th green at the beautiful Applecross C.C. The pressure was intense with an amazing “grand prize” on the line which included a beautiful “championship trophy”, a full golf membership at Applecross C.C. and a 6 day/5 night trip for two to the beautiful Pinehurst region in N.C. courtesy of “Brown Golf”. Our 2016 Champions faced 6 rounds of competition and were challenged with a variety of shots including chips, pitches, putts as well as lob and bunker shots. Each round the players with the 5 best shots received points. The goal was to accumulate as many points as possible and finish in the top 6 after our 5 round cut. The top 6 players (pictured below) would then compete in the Survivor Round for the final 2 slots and a chance to win the unbelievable “grand prize”. With our 6 finalists facing a difficult 95 ft. downhill chip shot from the rough, Jeff Neil and Patti Angelos hit the big shots and moved on to the SAP Up & In Playoff. In a thrilling playoff, Patti rolled in a pressure- packed 4 foot putt to become the 2016 Winning Golf “Grand Champion”!

Jeremy Bowden rolled in a miracle 60 ft. putt to win a 2-year lease to a gorgeous Infiniti QX50. Winning Golf TV partnered with the Chip in for a Cure Golf Classic held at the prestigious Applecross C.C.

This past week Winning Golf TV traveled to the prestigious Applecross C.C. for the final show of the season, the 2015 Winning Golf Championship.  Each season our “weekly champions” close out the year with a “championship day” full of fun, friendly competition, delicious food, a round of golf and the opportunity to win some amazing prizes. Our “championship format” is exciting, unique and clearly establishes the two best players of the day. Our 2 finalists then move on to compete in the SAP Up & In Playoff which establishes the 2015 “Grand Champion”!  Believe me, you won’t want to miss this show, definitely the most exciting finish in Winning Golf’s 5 year history!
