Presently, Doug provides private and group golf lessons for men, women and children at Penn Oaks G.C. in West Chester, Pa. Now in his 43nd year as a PGA Golf Professional, Doug has conducted over 35,000 lessons and was nominated for Teacher of the Year 8 times in the Philadelphia PGA section. Doug also offers golf team building for corporations, schools and churches throughout the Philadelphia region. Doug’s teaching philosophy focuses deeply on all of the key fundamentals of the full swing and short game, developing sound golf course management, effective drills, practice strategies, as well as mastering the mental side of the game. To enhance the learning experience, Doug also offers video as well as valuable training tools which allows his students to acquire feel and awareness throughout their game. In the winter season, Doug moves his instruction indoors to Play Around Golf, a facility located in Frazer, Pa.
