Today Cedarbrook is a family-oriented country club with a championship golf course measuring over 7,000 yards featuring nine possible course playing options including two "PGA Family Courses".
From the Head Golf Pro: Kerry Mattern
"Cedarbrook Country Club has had the pleasure of playing home to several "Winning Golf" Shows, hosted by my good friend Doug Hendricks over the past several years. The professional production, the informal ease with which Doug interacts with his participants, and the great sponsorships involved make "Winning Golf" a "Winning Combination" for Cedarbrook Country Club in our efforts to have our club story be told. The exposure the show provides has been instrumental in helping our club gain new members over the past few seasons and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Doug AND "Winning Golf" for many seasons to come."

Cedarbrook Country Club
Today’s Cedarbrook Country Club is several generations removed from Stenton Country Club which was founded in 1909 and was located near Stenton Avenue and Washington Lane in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. In 1919, a farm was purchased known as the Cedarbrook Farm bordered by Cheltenham Avenue, Easton Road, and Limekiln Pike and turned into a golf course by famed architect A.W. Tillinghast and later redesigned by Donald Ross.
With those design principles in mind, a new, larger tract of land was sought for a permanent home. In 1961, 210 contiguous acres of rolling, open space and woodlands was purchased in Blue Bell characterized by the Wissahickon Creek running through its middle. This was the ideal location for an unusually beautiful golf course. Renowned Massachusetts golf course architect William F. Mitchell was hired to design the course using the principles of Tillinghast and Ross, which we know today as Cedarbrook Country Club in Blue Bell, PA.
Today Cedarbrook is a family-oriented country club with a championship golf course measuring over 7,000 yards featuring nine possible course playing options including two "PGA Family Courses". There are thirteen bridges spanning the Wissahickon Creek, lakes, ponds, two large practice areas, expansive greens and bunkers, and abundant wildlife. There is an Olympic size pool, children’s pool, snack bar, six tennis courts all supported by vibrant swimming, tennis, and golf programs for adults and their families to complete the ideal family experience.
