In Week 4, Winning Golf visited the Pocono’s for the first time and the beautiful Split Rock Golf Club.  This challenging 27-hole lay-out located in Lake Harmony, PA was in great condition and offers some of the most spectacular views in the Northeast! Plus the wildlife is abundant with bear, deer and turkey sharing the fairways.  From the tips, the North Course reaches 7150 yards but offers 5 sets of tees, which makes it playable for golfers of all levels.

This exciting week was sponsored by one of Winning Golf’s very special partners, the Desmond Hotel & Conference Center. Desmond GM Mike Chain Jr. hosted 11 talented players on the challenging 6^th green and everyone enjoyed a special day full of laughs, great camaraderie, friendly competition and lots of Winning Golf highlights. Following the Winning Golf Skills Challenge, the players enjoyed a delicious lunch, lots of prizes and an enjoyable round of golf.

Another brand new and unique program at Split Rock is held on its South Course.  Here you can play 9 holes of regular golf or 18 holes of FOOT GOLF, which combines the sports of Soccer and Golf! Certainly a great concept for the family! It even offers a friendly BYOB! (Bring your own soccer ball)

Week 4 Highlights:

This week “Winning Golf” headed down I-95 to Havre de Grace Maryland and the gorgeous Bulle Rock Golf Course! Bulle Rock is one of the most prestigious courses in our region, has hosted 5 LPGA Championships and is now ranked the 45th best public course in the country by Golf Digest. 

Always challenging and in mint condition, Winning Golf enjoyed another spectacular experience at Bulle Rock in Week 3. Part of the overall great experience was provided by the fun and very talented group of players hosted by Mike Ackerman and Chris Geiger. We had numerous highlights from everyone and a thrilling finish in our “SAP Up & In Playoff”!  Plus you will not want to miss our champion's attempt for the Infiniti Q50!

Special thanks to the staffs of GM and Director of Golf Rick Rounsaville, Head Golf Professional Peter Bollman, Executive Assistant Barb Nevin, Head Chef Chet and Greens Superintendent Bill Lewis for providing us with a first class day! Looking forward to our next visit in June!

For the first time, Winning Golf traveled to the beautiful Talamore C.C. located in Ambler, Pa.  A talented group of ConRes employees and customers battled for 5 rounds on the very challenging 18th green. Our day included perfect weather, great camaraderie, lots of laughs, delicious food, exciting contests, amazing prizes, 18 holes of golf and lots of Winning Golf highlights!
 

Winning Golf is looking forward to another exciting event at Talamore C.C. later this season.  Special thanks to the “Talamore membership” as well as the entire staff led by GM Ray Sowden, Head Golf Professional Andy Watters and Greens Superintendent John Roedell for providing everyone with a very special memory.

Winning Golf kicked off the exciting 2015 season with a thrilling event at the gorgeous White Manor C.C.  A talented group of players hosted by Schorn Construction showed off their short game skills on the pristine 16th green.  

The excitement peaked when 5 players drained a 30 ft. putt in our Winning Golf Skills Challenge. Amazing!  

Highlight of the Week: Our Host Joe Schorn of Schorn Construction drains a 30ft putt to get himself into a playoff with 4 other contestants.

Winning Golf is thrilled to enter its 5^th season on Comcast Sportsnet. The show will again offer valuable instruction, informative course features, golf industry updates and of course the always fun and exciting Winning Golf Skills Challenge! Each week up to 16 amateurs will test their “short game” skills and enjoy a day full of fun, friendly competition, great camaraderie, awesome prizes, good food plus a round of golf at a first class golf course.

Winning Golf is also very thankful to have SAP America return as the 2015 Title Sponsor. In addition, thanks to the Bush Auto Group, this year’s weekly champion will pitch from only 60 feet for either a brand new Infiniti Q50 or a Nissan Pathfinder. Well, after a year of almost 300 contestants and thousands of shots around the green, the 2014 season now comes down to Week 20 and a field made up of 14 Weekly “Winning Golf” champions!  

This season the prestigious Winning Golf Championship will be held at the beautiful Applecross C.C. and our talented champions will be competing for a beautiful “championship trophy” courtesy of ProForma Industries as well as an amazing “grand prize” thanks to Cleveland Golf!  The once-in-a-lifetime “grand prize” will include a round of golf with 2-time Masters Champion Ben Crenshaw!  Now that is some “Winning Golf!”
